About Ali & Amal

The idea for Possibly Ali was based on a book script I originally wrote for an open call for Scholastic back in 2021. I was going to write and illustrate it as a book but decided to turn it into a show IP instead.

Possibly Ali is a 2D episodic comedic/fantastical series for a 6-9 year old audience. I wanted to create a show that reflected a bit about my background, as a mixed Egyptian person with a big imagination trying to fit into this world, lol! Also, I wanted to teach a bit more about Egyptian culture and mythology in a fun way. I think kids will get a kick out of Possibly Ali!

As for myself, I have worked in the animation industry for the past 10 years, primarily in production, and most recently as a line producer. I have worked on shows for Adult Swim, Netflix, Disney, and PBS. I am a cartoonist and artist as well, having graduated from Sheridan College's VFX and Computer Animation programs.
